Ace Hardware has recently changed their recommended faucet program.  Moen has been added to the mix for the first time.  In the past they were a warehouse vendor but not in the recommended plan-o-grams from Ace Corporate.

            In a recent communication between the Ace buying staff and Moen Inc, we have discovered that Ace has fulfilled more than 400 orders for the new faucet displays in just the past two months.  This is far beyond their expectations, and Ace is giving much of the credit to Moen and the Langenfeld field sales team.  Moen has gone from the outsider looking in to a leadership role in the category and Ace’s buying staff is very pleased with the efforts from Moen Corporate all the way out to the Field Sales staff in the stores from Langenfeld.

            Representatives from Moen and Langenfeld worked both the Moen booth and the Buyer’s booth at the Ace show in Atlanta, informing retailers about the changes being made to the recommended plan-o-grams, as well as the benefits of the new display units.  Our hard work at the show continued into the field, as our team hit as many Ace stores as possible to make sure there was no confusion about the conversion. 

Ace’s corporate office is receiving orders every single day from the Langenfeld field staff for the updated plan-o-gram and displays.  There is no shortage of compliments from the retailers as to the professionalism and knowledge portrayed by our team out in the field.  Langenfeld and Moen are teaming up to make this transition as smooth as it could possibly be.

            This is a prime example of how valuable it is to have people out in the trenches!
