On Saturday December 5, 2009 Langenfeld attended the annual MRMA (Midwest Retailers and Manufacturers Association) Crystal Ball.  The event was held at the beautiful Drake Hotel in downtown Chicago.  It was night filled with dinner and dancing, with all of the proceeds going to the MRMA scholarship fund.  Every attendee also brought an unwrapped toy that would be donated to a needy child for Christmas.

            This event, like all MRMA events, was another great opportunity for everyone within the hardware industry to get together and socialize, as well as support a wonderful cause at the same time.  There were attendees from Ace Hardware, True Value, and many manufacturers and manufacturer’s representatives.      

            We were also pleased to announce the Steve Henley, Langenfeld’s Vice President, will serve as president of the MRMA for 2010.  MRMA has done a lot of great things in 2009, and everyone is looking forward to 2010.
