EA Langenfeld, a professional sales organization, headquartered in Mount Prospect, IL, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team full-time, as a Salaried National Account Manager. This person will sell, merchandise, and educate on behalf of our key clients to retail hardware chains and stores throughout the Northeast Region of the Country.  This position requires extensive overnight travel, trade show preparation and staffing which will include a few weekends throughout the year. 

The idea candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and preferably a minimum of 5 years of related sales/retail experience.  Prior experience working within the fields of either hardware, plumbing, or electrical in a retail setting is a plus.  Strategic selling and planning skills are a must.  We are looking for a self-starting individual that has very strong interpersonal communication skills, that presents themselves in an extremely professional manner and someone who enjoys face-to-face interaction.  Prior use of Salesforce is a plus.

Langenfeld Associates, a leader in National Retail Services, has an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to join our team working out of our Roseville, MN Office.  We are seeking an energetic, self-starter who is able to operate within a team environment, to work with our clients in developing sales and marketing strategies and to drive new and existing product sales within the Farm/Ag channel.  This person will be responsible for management of a diverse group of consumer product categories including pet, lawn & garden, hardware, plumbing, electrical and housewares.  This position will require some overnight travel as well as the ability to work at least 4-6 trade shows per year.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and preferably 2-3 years of experience working in a sales/marketing and/or retail capacity.  Prior experience working within the hardware or farm/ag industry is a plus.  Strategic selling and planning skills are a must.  We are looking for a self-starting individual that has very strong interpersonal communication skills, that presents themselves in an extremely professional manner and someone who enjoys face-to-face interaction.  Qualified candidates must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a necessity.

Business Unit Manager – Industrial

EA Langenfeld, a professional sales and marketing organization, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Unit Manager, handling our Industrial clients, and working out of our headquarter office in Mount Prospect, IL. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Achieving revenue goals by serving as the primary marketing consultant and sales manager to identify our clients’ objectives and then selling to drive revenue and share growth in the Industrial channel.

  • Developing a business plan that incorporates our clients’ objectives to increase their penetration and share in the marketplace leading to incremental revenue growth.

  • Building and Managing relationships across multiple buyers, brands, functions (including brand marketing, field sales and consumer promotion) and at all levels of the organization.

  • Analyzing data to design efficient and effective program solutions for our Industrial clients.

  • Managing Industrial accounts including revenue and unit forecasting, and the managing of programs, budgets and trade spend.

  • Creating and performing multi-media sales presentations.

 

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s and preferably a Master’s degree.   A minimum of five years of experience working in the industry in account management is required with an emphasis on marketing, promotions or sales.  We are looking for a self starting individual that has very strong communication skills, the ability to interface and sell to all levels of management, and a proven track record of developing relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors.  Strong analytical skills as well as prior experience in budget management and financial projection is a necessity.    Proficiency with advanced Excel and working with Word, Outlook and PowerPoint is mandatory.  Prior experience with Sales Force is a plus.

CLIENT Manager – MOUNT PROSPECT

This individual will manage the workflow for our Industrial clients.  Job duties involve working with and coordinating orders, pricing, promotional spending, forecasting and information flow between the Company and the Industrial Accounts.  This position will also be a key part of the operations team in handling other administrative duties when needed.

 

We are looking for an energetic self-starter, who can operate within a team environment.   The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.  A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales administration or business management is a plus.
