Sales Account Executive - Datastory - Remote
Datastory, an industry leader in providing location intelligence SaaS software and services for executive leadership in a wide variety of industries, has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic sales minded individual to join our team working full-time. This salaried plus commission position is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of our emerging location intelligence business.
The Datastory Account Executive responsibilities include the following:

Establish relationships with potential new accounts.

Pursue business expansion opportunities with current clients.

Develop relationships with major clients to increase revenue.

Maintain client relationships remotely and, on occasion in person, to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal.

Maintain detailed knowledge of products and services.

Establish ongoing assurance that products and services are consistently meeting client needs.
In addition, Datastory Account Executives are responsible for:

Presenting demonstrations of products and services related to customer needs.

Determining the scope of new business opportunities.

Providing quotations and proposals.
This individual will manage and grow accounts throughout the entire sales process working closely with a Sales Development Representative.
The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience, ideally in a software environment. Prior experience selling into our existing vertical markets is a plus. Prior working knowledge and proficiency using CRM tools is a necessity. We are looking for someone with strong communication and organizational skills and a collaborative approach to developing solutions.

Job Duties:

EA Langenfeld, a professional sales organization, is seeking an energetic and focused individual to join our team as a home based salaried Strategic Account Manager residing in the Kansas City, KS area. This person will sell, merchandise, and educate on behalf of our key clients to retail hardware chains and stores throughout the Midwest region of the Country including the states of KS, MO, OK, AR and Western IL. This position requires overnight travel, as well as trade show preparation and staffing.
The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree, at least 3-5 years of related sales/retail experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office. Strategic selling, planning and organizational skills are a must. We are looking for a self-starting individual that has very strong verbal and written communication skills, presents themselves in an extremely professional manner and someone who enjoys face-to-face interaction. Experience working within the fields of either hardware, plumbing, or electrical in a retail setting is a plus, especially with Westlake Ace Hardware or Sutherland Lumber. Prior use of Salesforce would be helpful.
