Corporate Sales Rep - Mt Prospect, IL

E.A. Langenfeld Associates, a leader in National Retail Services, has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team working out of our Mount Prospect, IL headquarters.  We are seeking an energetic, self-starter who can operate within a team environment, to work with our client base in developing sales and marketing strategies and to drive new and existing product sales within the hardware channel.  This person will be responsible for handling a diverse group of consumer product categories.  Some travel and the ability to work at least 4 hardware trade shows per year will be required.

The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience working in a sales/marketing and/or a retail capacity.  Prior experience working within the hardware industry is a plus.  Qualified candidates must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Experience working with Sales Force would be helpful. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are a necessity.  This person must be highly organized and have the ability to multi-task.

Client Manager, Home Center - GA

EA Langenfeld (www.langenfeld.com), an innovative Sales, and Marketing company has an exciting work from home opportunity in the Smyrna, GA area for an energetic, self-starter to join our team as a Client Manager. The qualified candidate will be working within our expanding Home Center division.

 

The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or Finance.  Prior experience in the retail industry, preferably working with National Home Centers or vendors, is a plus.  We are looking for an energetic, analytical thinker who works well with multifunctional groups/people and can coordinate the completion of tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of working with Pivot Tables is a necessity. Overnight travel might be required 5% of the time.

 

Primary responsibilities include analyzing client POS data and making recommendations on improvements; developing and executing advertising plans for eCommerce-based programs; collaborating directly with clients to determine eCommerce product recommendations; completing new item set up and item maintenance in client and customer portals; interacting with customers and clients on a regular basis; and contributing to projects that maximize sales and profitability.

Merchandiser - Part Time Flexible Schedule (Minnesota)

Do you enjoy an independent work environment? This position, merchandising at mainly Menard locations in a drive-able territory, fits well for those who want planned-out weeks with daily schedules you set yourself.

E. A. Langenfeld, an established and exciting sales and marketing company, is seeking an organized and self-motivated individual. The ideal candidate must be able to commit to working 25-29 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • · Follow a route merchandising at multiple locations – primary business days are   flexible and worked between Monday – Friday.

  • · Ensure planograms are correctly merchandised and stocked by auditing and straightening sets.

  • · Build and maintain relationships with all store personnel and clients.

  • · Assist with store sets, resets and special projects as needed.

  • · Must be able to shift priorities.

  • · Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.

  • · Complete and submit surveys online via your smartphone

  • · Larger territory with overnight travel one to two times per month
