Langenfeld Cares WINGS Clothing Drive
In honor of October being National Domestic Violence Awareness month, the EAL Woman’s ERG Community Outreach Committee in Mount Prospect partnered with a local Woman’s shelter, WINGS, to sponsor an office clothing drive. The mission of WINGS is to provide housing, integrated services, education and advocacy to end domestic violence. They are the largest provider of domestic violence services in Illinois, with housing, counseling, emotional and career services. WINGS is a rescuer.
As we transitioned our closets from Summer to Fall in the Midwest, we were able to donate 45 boxes and bags of clothing, shoes and household items. The generous donations will help victims of domestic violence move on to self-sufficient and independent lives. Thank you to all who took the time and consideration to donate!
